Rochester Mayor Malik Evans has honored Jim Farr for an extraordinary 48 years of service to the city.

Mayor Evans presented a proclamation today honoring Jim Farr.

Farr has been at the centre of of transforming the Public Market into a vibrant cultural destination.

In his incredible years of commitment to the city council, Farr also played a significant role in launching beloved events like Bands on the Bricks.

Mayor Evans says Farr’s visionary leadership has left a lasting legacy.

The Mayor said Farr has now taken to helping shape the future of the International Plaza.

“Thank you, Jim, for everything!,” said Mayor Evans.
