A middle school student stole a vehicle from a delivery driver and ended his life in a car crash on Thursday.

The 13-year-old boy, accompanied by a 14 year old female passenger, died after crashing a stolen delivery car in Bedford, New Hampshire, police said.

The vehicle was reported stolen from a food delivery driver in Manchester just before 1:00 a.m. Wednesday.

The driver told officers he had left the car briefly and returned to find it missing.

Manchester police spotted the stolen car speeding without headlights and began a chase, which was later called off when the vehicle was lost on the highway.
