Juvenile Male Charged with Murder in Chelsea Double Homicide Investigation

A juvenile male has been charged with murder following a double homicide discovered Wednesday evening at a Chelsea residence.

State troopers found two men dead at the home on Windsor Road around 8:37 p.m., prompting an investigation by the Maine State Police Major Crimes Unit Central.

The juvenile was arrested at the scene and is currently held at Long Creek Youth Development Center, with authorities confirming there is no ongoing threat to the public.

Autopsies are underway to determine the exact cause of death, but few other details have been released as the investigation continues.

The juvenile was arrested by state troopers immediately after officers found the two deceased men inside the Chelsea home.

State Police detectives and evidence technicians conducted an initial investigation and secured the scene.

The suspect did not resist arrest and was transported to Long Creek Youth Development Center in South Portland.

No further suspects have been identified, and authorities confirmed there is no ongoing danger to the public related to the incident.
