Hight temps ahead: Cooling centers located in City Hall and Library

The City of Rochester is offering two Summer Cooling Centers as temperatures are projected to reach more than 90 degrees over the next several days.

The two locations include the Rochester Public Library, 65 South Main Street, and City Hall, 31 Wakefield Street.

“We want everyone to have a safe and fun summer,” said Chief Mark Klose, Rochester Fire Department. “The Public Library and City Hall provide a place for you and your family to go to cool down during hot summer days.”

Rochester Public Library:
Monday through Wednesday 9am-8pm, Thursday and Friday 9am-5pm.

Rochester City Hall:
Monday through Friday 8am-5pm.
