Pappas made the remarks when the New Hampshire Breast Cancer Coalition visited his office.

He said after the meeting that New Hampshire has the 5th highest rate of breast cancer in the United States.

Pappas encouraged women to consider routine screening as it was critical for early detection and better outcomes.

“Thank you to the Granite Staters for stopping by my office this week and all you do,” he said.
